ABOUT US:

Petite Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is a brand new pediatric dental office located at the busy intersection of Harlem and North Ave. We are hiring a part-time dental assistant to join our team. Experience preferred, but not needed as we are willing to train the right candidate. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, fun, positive energy, and a passion to work with children.

This is a part-time position for Mon, Wed, Fri, and 1x Saturday per month.
Employee Hours:

• Mon: 7:30am - 5p
• Wed: 8:30am - 6p
• Fri: 7:30am - 5p
• Sat: 7:00am - 12:30pm (once per month)

Responsibilities

• Engage with children of all ages (1 y/o - 18 y/o) and parents
• Assist the pediatric dentist during procedures
• Maintain clinical area by restocking supplies, cleaning, and keeping a safe environment
• Taking X-rays
• Maintain patient charts by updating tooth chart, writing treatment notes, and updating medical/dental histories.

• Punctual and dependable. Attendance is extremely important.
• Motivated to contantly learn and works well with others
• Comfortable with Social Media and uploading content
• Preferred Coronal polishing certificate
• Preferred Nitrous Oxide certificate

Requirements

• Previous dental chairside assisting preferred, but not required
• Coronal Polish certification preferred, but not required
• Nitrous certification preferred, but not required
• Saturdays and evenings available

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
